Dark Times Are Close (Closed to Alex Johnson)

I was up at the stage, wand ready. I was waiting to duel Lucius since the incident at the Broomsticks and now was my chance. I bowed towards Lucius as a polite gesture he didnt deserve. There was no way he could beat me.

"Begin!" said the teacher.

"Flipendo!" shouted Lucius.

"Protego!" I was able to block his spell easily.

"Immobulus!Impedimenta!" Lucius continued, with no succes.

"Protego maxima! Everte Statum! Expelliarmus!" Lucius was to cought up with my spells to keep his wand in his hand and just like that it was over.
"Whose the better wizard now, Malfoy." I chuckled and left the stage, placing myself next to Sirius who gave me a huge smile for my victory. Narcissa fought with Peter and won, Snape and Arthur didnt last long Severus over powered him. I waited for my next duel pationtly only to be dealt a huge let down.

"Mr. Black and Mr. Warren you two will duel first, Ms. Piper and Ms. Black duel after. Boys whoever wins shall duel Mr. Snape. Now take the stage!" said the professor, he had a thing for couples.

"Sirius, I dont want you going easy on me cause I swear I wont." I turned and headed towards the stage ready to duel Sirius.

When Lucius stepped down he was steaming, I ran a hand through his hair and gave him a kiss on the lips to try to calm him down. I didn't like it when Lucius was angry, he was vengeful.

"Don't worry, love. You'll get him next time." I lied, me and Noah were hard to beat, and I just wasn't saying it to feed my ego. Me and Noah could predict their moves, not even Confundus had full effect on us.

Sirius understood what Noah was saying, plus, he couldn't go to easy on him either or else people might suspect something was going on.
"Don't worry, let it be a fair duel." He winked at my cousin and walked to the other side of the stage. He knew Noah would beat him anyways, so why go easy?

"Begin!"

"Avis, Oppugno!" Birds popped out of nowhere and proceeded to launch themselves at Noah. It was the most creative attack so far.

"Repello Inimigotum! Please, Sirius that all you got?" Sirius spell was creative but not strong at all, I expected more.
"Silencio!" I couldnt have him using any spells.
"Flipendo! Spongify" I'd over done it, Sirius flew out of the end of the arena, hopefuly my spone charm had lessend the blow. I ran towards him hoping he was ok.
"Black, you ok?" I asked, he answered me with a nod and when I was sure everything was ok I casted my last spell removing his wand.

I went back to my side getting ready for my duel with Snape. Snape took his stance and launched his first spell.

"Levicorpus!" he shouted.
"Protego! Come on Snivelly! You can do better than that!" maybe my taunting could make him duel for real. My shield spells continued protecting me from his failed attempts until he lost his temper.

"Thats it! SECTUMSEMPRA!" before I knew it my arm was bleeding and an inmense pain engulfed my body. Sirius was by my side in seconds, his wand raised.

"Stupefy!" shouted the proffesor, sending Snape flying.
"Take him to the hospital wing! Now!" he was giving commands but my duels werent over.

"NO! Im staying." I wasnt about to leave just yet, I had one final duel. Maybe a momentary solution would help.

"Episkey!" I shouted from the other side of the stage causing Noah's wound to stop bleeding. "What the fuck, Severus!?" I shrieked, I was furious. I didn't care how frustrated he was, he had no right hurting my cousin.

"Miss Piper, language!" The professor scolded me and turned to Severus. "You are disqualified and will have detention, Mr. Snape."

I fought hard against my emotions, I wanted to beat him up. And what on earth was the spell he'd used? I'd never heard it before and I was getting answers out of him later.

"Piper and Black! To the stage."

Me and Narcissa walked up to the stage and did the usual bow, she was scared. She was scared because she knew I was angry, and I didn't know how to control myself when I was angry.

"Begin!"

"Silencio!" Was my first spell, just like Noah had done with Sirius I wasn't about to let this bitch get a spell in edgewise. "Suplantare!" She fell flat on her face. "Levicorpus!" She was now hanging in the air by her legs, it's a good thing she wore pants under her skirt. I decided to have a bit of cruel fun now. "Pilosus!" Hair began to grow all over her body, it was pretty disgusting, the hall laughed. "Densaugeo!" Her teeth began to grow and she looked like an oversized blonde beaver. "Experliarmus!" She was disarmed.

I let her down in a not so gently way and took a deep breath, that calmed me down.

Morgan had stoped the bleeding but the wound was still big and deep and the pain was still very much there.

"I ask for a break! Sirius follow me!" I ran out of the dueling room for a moment hoping to get a minute alone with Sirius, damn it! It hurt. When I saw Sirius come out of the room I went to him and kissed him, I'd do anything to forget the pain for the moment. I held him in my one armed inbrace for as long as I could, until the pain was to aweful to bare.

"Thanks, Padfoot I needed that." I leaned on to the wall and laughed for a miny second. I tried getting up but the pain was to much.

"You must think Ive gone mad." I told Sirius.

Sirius quickly got out of the Dueling Hall and embraced Noah, it pained him to know the guy he loved was hurt, and there was nothing he could do about it.
"Not mad, just determined." He assured his boyfriend. He stroked his hair and gave a sigh. "Noah, if not for your cousin, do it for me. Go to the hospital wing, get yourself bandaged an mended, you'll be back in a heartbeat."

Sirus took a look at Noah's arm and his brow furrowed.
"I swear I'm going to get Severus for this, mark my word..." He closed his eyes tightly for a few seconds. "It's a good think Morgie cast Episkey, otherwise you'd lost a whole lot of blood. And then there'd be no way you could duel her."

I felt Narcissa glaring daggers down my back, and honestly I didn't care. She'd have it out for me even if I didn't duel her. I stole the guy of her dreams, and she wouldn't let that go.

I wasn't afraid, though. To me she was like a puppy, easily scared. I turned around to glare back at her and she took a step back. Bellatrix looked scared too, though she held her ground.
"Damn, Morgan, calm down. Your face's almost as red as your hair." She said to me.

I sighed and sat on the edge of the stage, my head hurt and I was incredibly frustrated. But I decided to calm down, Noah was injured, not dead. Lucius walked towards me and I rested my forehead against his, eyes closed.
"I think I went overboard, right?"

I gave up on fighting this, the gap in my arm looked life threatning if not treated properly. I headed back into the dueling hall and asked the professor for some time while I got myself checked out, he agreed.

"Duels will b stald for the next 2 hours. Mr. Warren are you sure about this?" he asked me, his eyes filled with concern.

"Yeah, Im sure." I left towards th hospital wing with Sirius, he was the only person I wanted near me at the moment. On the way he didnt stop looking to our sides, probably looking for Snape.
"Will you calm down! I'm sure he didnt man it, it was probably an accident I mean I taunted him. He just got frustrated and casted the wrong spell." I smiled and grabbed his hand hoping he'd calm down.

"No, you didnt" said Lucius.

His gaze was set on Severus, what was he thinking? Using a spell like that. He held Morgans hand and took her straight towards Snape. He didnt let her pass him, Lucius wanted Morgan behind him at all times, he wasnt about to let her get hurt.

"What th bloody hell is wrong with you? Thats my girlfriends family!" Lucius was furios, Morgan would kill for that boy and Snape was just tempting her.

"Since when do you care about the Gryffindor boy, Lucius? If I remember correctly he just humiliated you infront of most of the school. I thought you'd be thanking me."Snape didnt look at Morgan or Lucius, he didnt care. He wasnt ashamed of what he did. He'd been waiting to use that spell on the Potter boy but Warren had to do.

"SNAPE! Your a dead man!" Remus, James and Peter approched the Slytherin gang. Remus was on fire, the stench of blood filled the air around th room. Snape had attacked his friend and he wasnt gonna take it.

"Professor! A final duel! Me and Snape, no restrictions." shouted Remus towards the professor. Remus wasnt gonna let Snape go down easy, he was ready to us every spell he'd mastered.

"No, Mr. Lupin! There shall be no such duel, Mr. Snape leave and report yourself to the headmasters office. Ms. Piper you will escort him." the professor was cleaning the blood left at the arena.

"WHAT? HELL NO!" said Lucius and Remus at the same moment. They hated eachother but this was Morgan they were talking about.
"We'll acompany them." said Lucius.

"He did not, Noah. I can't believe you being a seer wouldn't notice it!" Sirius was incredibly angry but he decided it was time to calm down, he didn't want to yell at Noah, it didn't feel right. "I just wish I could have done the same thing to him, show him how it hurts."

They reached the hospital wing in half an hour, naturally Pomfrey was already alerted so she was there to greet them.
"Sit over here, Mr. Warren." She had a stool ready for him. She pointed her wand at his arm and said, "Ferula." His arm was now bandaged. She walked over to a table where she mixed a few potions together with pumpkin juice and gave it to him. "Drink this, try to do it in one gulp because it tastes rather nasty. Your wound will heal, but the pain will be unbearable, so Mr. Black I need you to hold him down so he doesn't move too much."

Sirus looked at Pomfrey with wide eyes and held on to Noah's shoulders, this wouldn't be pleasant.

Lucius made me feel so comfortable, so reassured. I think I was actually falling for the guy.

He defended me and it felt kind of good, he didn't like Noah, but he knew how much he meant to me and he wouldn't let anybody else hurt him without a proper scolding. This meant Lucius REALLY did care about me and it wasn't just a crush he had on me for 5 years. Severus acted stubborn and I just wanted to slap him, shake some sense into him that is was my cousin he hurt and not just some other Gryffindor. He was my best friend, how could he do this to me?

And then the Marauders came over and my hear raced, I really didn't want trouble and I was eternally grateful the professor didn't allow another duel out of the scroll he held. He wanted me to escort Severus to the Headmaster's office and both Remus and Lucius said I wouldn't go alone, this kind of made me want to giggle but I held it in.

With a sigh I turned around.
"Fine, let's go guys..." I said and walked out of the Dueling Hall.

"AHHH!" I wasnt usually good with pain but this took it to a whole new level.
"I SWEAR I'LL KILL HIM!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs, this was insane. Sirius held me down but even he lost his grip every few seconds. By the time the pain left the wound was still there barely healed, so much pain for nothing.

"The young boy casted a very dark spell..." said Pomfry as she went back into the pantry.

"This is insane!" I spoke to Sirius.
"So much damn pain and barely any results!" what kind of spell had Snape cast? Why was it taking so long to heal? My wound wasnt bleding and it was bandaged, dueling club would retake in 20 minutes.
"Were going back Sirius, I can take it as I am now." I was headed towards the exit before being held back by Sirius. "What?" I asked him.

This had to be the most weird thing Remus had ever done. He'd agreed to acompany Luicus, Morgan and Snape. The walk was filled with ackward silence and he was gonna explode soon, never had he been so quite.

"Snape, what the hell made you cast that spell? You knew the rules." asked Remus.

"Ive been wondering the same thing also. What the hell happened out there? Severus?" Lucius was thinking the same things as Remus, things were getting weird.

Snap simply ignord them, they wouldnt understand. He really didnt understand what had happened, he just went with what he knew and he knew that spell the best.

"That is none of any of your busyness!" Snape ran towards the office.

"Snape get back here!" said Remus and Lucius simultaniosly.

The thought of Noah getting even more hurt didn't sit well with Sirius, but he knew his love was determined even if it meant coming out worse in the end.

"Mr. Warren." Pomfrey said approaching the two. "There is one more thing I can do, I think it will take away the pain but the wound will remain the same." She pointed her wand at his arm once more and said, "Vulnera Sanentur."

Noah wound was still open, but thanks to Morgan's spell it wasn't bleeding, and now with Pomfrey's it hopefully wouldn't hurt.
"I think you're well on your way, Nathaniel." Pomfrey smiled and patted his good arm.

Sirius calmed down quite a bit and nodded at Noah, he took his arm and guided him to the Dueling Hall, kissing him every now and then.

"Levicorpus!" I wasn't about to let Severus get away, I wanted answers. I yanked him over to us and I put him against a wall. "What do you mean it's none of our business!? It's my damn cousin you hurt, Snape!"

Snape, it sounded foreign to my tongue, I was used to calling him Severus or Sevvie. Snape made him sound like my enemy.
"I was going to tell my friends to take it easy on you. But now you deserve EVERYTHING they throw at you. Don't you DARE come to me to give me complaints because I will not be there to help you. You understand!?" Everything came out of impulse, he was my best friend how could I yell at him that way? "Alright, maybe not to that extent, but still!"

I let him down gently.
"Just go, go to the headmaster's office." He left and I crumbled to the floor in tears.

Having Sirius by my side made me feel better about what was going on. He'd been by my side, I think I'm in love with him, I thought. Things were getting better. We reached the dueling hall hand in hand, tears escaped my eyes but they werent mine.

"Morgan... Sirius follow me." I turned and headed towards Dumbledors office, sirius said something but I was to focused on Morgan to pay any attention to him. I stoped, my legs hurt and my arm let out a little blood. I was pushing myself to hard, I needed to take a brake. I let myself fall on my knees.

"Would it kill anyone for a moment of peace!" I screamed out loud, Sirius sat me down and held me tight. I let my and Morgans tears fall, things were getting so hard.

Remus stood as he watched Lucius comfort his girlfriend. Wether Lucius was an aweful human being he was right for Morgan, he wasnt. All h could do was put a hand on her shoulder and tell her everything would be ok. Most on the job belonged to the man that held the girl he loved.

"How about we head back to the dueling stage, they're waiting for us there." Remus helped Morgan get up and gave her a hug. The hug lasted more than it should have , making Lucius very uncomfortable. He just had to cut in.

"So were leaving?" he asked.

I hugged Remus tightly, and I didn't want to let go. His body was warmer than Lucius', and he had a unique smell I couldn't resist. Hugging him I felt like I was home.

But Lucius interrupted and I was back to reality, Remus wasn't mine, I was Lucius'. I nodded and wiped my tears away before beginning to walk, my arm resting high on Remus' shoulder and my other twisted to Lucius'. As much as I tried to stop crying, I couldn't, and within 5 minutes I found out why.

There was Noah sitting on the floor with Sirius, his arm was bleeding slightly.
"Episkey." I quickly said and ran over to him. "Noah, what happened?" He was crying, it broke my soul so I hugged him tightly, avoiding his arm. He was frustrated, I could feel it, and I shared his frustration. I began to cry too.

Sirius pushed back a strand of my hair that was stuck with sweat and tears to my face, and I saw him sneak a kiss to Noah's cheek when Remus and Lucius couldn't see because I blocked the view.
"C'mon, cousin. We need to duel." I let go on him and half smiled at him. "That should make things better, no? Like we used to duel when we were kids?"

I grabbed my cousin and hugged her. Things were just getting started and they already sucked. Dark times are close, Noah. Dont forget that.The voice in my head wasnt my own but at this point weird things seemed normal to me.

"I remember beating you." I said giggling, I stood and arms intrlaced walked towards the dueling hall. Most of the students were still there, all looking at what we were about to duel.
"Lets make on for the history books." I told Morgan as we took the stage. The bow, the pose, the professor it all seemed familiar.

"Begin!" shouted the professor and it was on.

"Impedimenta!" I shouted, hoping to get the advantage.

"Protego!" Noah was good, but his moves were pretty predictable, to a seer, at least. "Diminuendo!" I needed a good giggle. "Finite!" Noah was back to normal and before he would say anything I shouted "Protego!" Once more to evade his spell.

He was about to disarm me, I couldn't let that happen, I had to win.
"Evarte Statum!"

I wasnt gonna lose, her tricky spells meant nothing, I was gonna finish this fast.

"Expelliarmurs!" I shouted at the same moment she casted her spell. Our spells met creating an amazing show of lights and before I knew it I was in the Shrieking shack. How had I gotten here? I was dueling and I couldnt apparate.

"Stupefy!" I heared a spell being casted and through the door came, me? He definetly looked like me and his wand looked exactly like mine.
"Come on Morgie! Hasent the dark lord teached you anything?" he said. Through the door came Morgan, she looked just as beat up as the other me did.
"Come on! Harder! Faster!" spells flew from each wand. For a moment I thought I had heared the killing curse and just like that a green jet of light slightly missed the other me. Was Morgan trying to kill me?
"What? Killing James and Lily wasnt enough for you people? Crucio!" I couldnt beleive that spell had come from my wand, Morgan screamed but that didnt stop her from attacking. I was sent flying to the wall, I ran towards the othe me hoping everything was ok. I was alive thats for sure but I was also in pretty bad shape. The other me stood, he raised his wand towards Morgan.
"Avada Kedav..." he wasnt able to finish his spell, th roof of the shack fell on them out of the blue.
"Noah?!" I knew that voice.
"Remus over here! What? What is it?" the other me looked worried. I couldnt see Morgan anywhere, she must have left.
"Sirius has been sent to azkaban for murder. He killed Peter" what Remus said sent chills down my spine. Murder? Peter?

"Expelliarmus!" the blast from the spell knocked me towards the end of the dueling platform. I sat up, tears falling down my eyes. Was that a warning or actual events? I looked over at Morgan, she looked just as shocked as I did. She'd seen it too. Remus and Sirius were by my side in a matter of seconds.

"Dude! I cant believe you guys were able to do that!" Remus smile looked so different from the grim expresion his face held a couple of minutes ago. Parts of the vision returned to me, I wasnt thinking clearly, these images were haunting me. I grabbed Sirius and held him tight, I sobbed into his chest not wanting him to ever let go.

"Dont let go! Ever!" I hugged him tighter than ever before and cried even harder. I was gonna lose him to murder! I had to change it, I had to change everything.

Sparks were flying and suddenly I was transported to the Shrieking Shack. I hear two people sending spells at each other and a man walked in the room. He looked familiar, was it Noah?
"C'mon Morgie, Hasn't the Dark Lord taught you anything!?"

"The dark lord? Who's--" I was cut short by a woman who came in, it was me, probably 6 years from now. We both looked pretty beat up. Noah mentioned something about Lily and James being murdered .A bunch of spells were thrown around causing to shack to light up with various colors and the older me did something that made me feel sick to my stomach. She sent him the killing curse.

The future me didn't look to happy to have done that, she looked relieved when it missed Noah by a few inches, but then Noah cast Cruccio and I let out an awful gut-wrenching shriek. I said something I didn't understand and Noah was sent flying and hit himself with a wall. I looked at my arm, was that a tattoo on it? He was about to send the killing curse to me but he couldn't finish it, he didn't want to kill me.

Remus' voice was heard outside by the hall and the future me apparated out of there. He went over to Noah and told him that Sirius was sent to Azkaban for murdering Peter.

I was back at the Dueling Hall, I fell on my knees in shock. Was this the future? What on earth had happened for everything to be so fucked up?

Lucius walked over to me and helped me up, I hugged him but said nothing, no emotions came out, it was all pure shock.

Noah on the other hand was crying and hugging Sirius who hugged him back. It seemed that Noah had the same vision I had. After what seemed like for ever I could feel my heart beat again and I blinked.
"I can't let this happen." I said to myself. And if I had to join the 'dark lord' to do it I would, it seemed all my visions were about him, now the vision of Peter talking to 'his lord' made sense. Maybe by infiltrating his plans I could change the future, stop Peter from snitching, stop Sirius from murdering him, stop myself from fighting Noah.

Sirius tried to calm Noah down.
"I'm not going to leave you, Noah." He whispered. "Not for anything in the world. Why would you ask me not to do something you know won't happen?"

"Amazing!" The professor cheered and applauded. "100 points for Slytherin and Gryffindor!"

The hall began to cheer and I couldn't take the noise, I needed to leave. I took Lucius' hand and dragged him out of the Dueling Hall and out to the grounds, it was already dark and the not fully complete moon shined above the lake. There by it's side I hugged Lucius and began to cry onto his chest, letting out every emotion possible, hoping he could attempt to calm me down. Hoping he'd show me how much he cared about me.

"Oh, Lucius. The future's a mess." I said to him. "I think my mother's visions were right, dark times are close and I feel powerless."

My mind was somewhere off in the beyond. I wasn’t sure where I was or who I was with but at the moment nothing mattered. Morgan and I had a shared destiny, but if that meant fighting to the death I’d do anything to stop that. That last vision really left a mark on me; it wasn’t something I expected to see in my life. Especially the horrid spell I’d casted, the cruciatus cures or the torture curse. I swore I’d never use one of those spells as long as I lived but things proved otherwise. Someone nudged me out of my thought.

“Am I interrupting something?” asked Frank. He sat down next to me; he had a worried look on his face.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked him, maybe concentrating on someone else’s problems might make me fell differently about my own.

“I want you to tell me something, I need a vision.” He mostly looked at the floor while talking. This was the first time anyone had asked me to give them a vision, visions usually came to me I didn’t know if I could tap into that.

“I… I don’t know Frank. I mean I’ve never tried to have one on purpose.” Actually I had a couple of times, apparently even seers have rules and rule number one is that we cant use our visions for personal gain as in no winning the lottery for this teen. Mostly my attempts were unsuccessful, I was only able to do it once and what I saw wasn’t what I expected.

“Can you try? For me?” he asked me as if he depended on me and I couldn’t say no.

“Fine but I can’t promise anything. What do you need?” I needed to know if I was to get a good vision.

“Alice and I are we going somewhere?” he was asking me about his love life? I focused as I hard as I could and nothing happend. I tried again hoping a second time might help but just like before nothing happened.

"I'm sorry Frank but I just cant make them come when I want them." he let out a deep sigh, I felt bad for the guy he'd asked me for a favor I just couldnt grant. I pated him on the shoulder, each touch made the hairs in my arms stand. I saw Sirius out of the corner of my eye, how long had he been there? I excused myself with Frank and walked toward him.

"Sirius, the futures a mess. I need to change it but how can I do that?" I needed someone to help me, someone to guide me, someone to love me and that was Sirius Black.

Lucius held Morgans face towards him, he looked into her unique eyes and kissed her softly.

"Morgan, you have never been powerless nor will you ever be powerless. If anyone has the power to change what you saw its you." Lucius reasured her, he knew what he said was the truth. I want to be with you forever, he thought. Maybe Moran was the one, she was perfect for him, no one else had made him feel the way she made him feel. He touched her cheeck gently, slowly removing the cloth that hide her wound. To his surprise there was nothing there, no scar, no wound just her perfect skin. This time he was gonna do this right, no alcohol and no horrible morning after this time everything would be perfect. He laid her on the grass as soft as he could, kissing her from her lips to her neck, slowly unbottoning her shirt.

"I love you, Morgan Piper." He said in between breaths.

Noah was asking Sirius for help and he suddenly didn't know how to reply. Sirius wasn't a seer, Sirius was even about to flunk Divination last term, but this was Noah, he had to give him at least some hope.

"To be honest I don't know," he began, "but it seems to me that the best thing you can do is write your visions on paper. I know that when my mind is jumbled up it helps me out. After you write it on paper then find solutions for each thing that happens."

He thought hard.

"Discard anything that seems obvious and focus on the details of you visions could help, sometimes the way people look in visions can tell you a lot of why things are happening, even the way places look tell a whole different story. Or so I've read..." He wished he had payed more attention. "Trying to avoid the butterfly effect works too, like if you have a vision in which you fight somebody, avoid them, or be as kind to them as possible."

Sirius smiled at Noah and kissed his forehead.
"I promise you everything will be fine, I'll help you with anything I can, Nathaniel, I swear." He hugged his boyfriend for a while, trying to make him feel more comfortable and secure, and perhaps distract him for a little bit of the day's events.

Was this real or was I in some kind of fantasy world after the vision I had? My breaths were deeper and I closed my eyes, his hands felt comforting, his breath took me away and his voice made me feel like I was in paradise. Suddenly all my fears vanished and I was in my own little world with him.

We weren't drunk, and he was treating me with utmost gentleness, I kissed his lips and attempted to register my emotions. All these years I denied his invitations for a start because I was blinded by something that could never be, and now that I finally let him into a more private part of my life I wondered if I had some hidden feelings for him during our friendship.

"I love you too, Lucius Malfoy." I opened my eyes. The words that escaped my lips felt natural, my heart beat faster as he unbuttoned the last button on my shirt, semi-exposing my body to him and the moonlight. The moment felt magical, it felt right. "And I don't know why it took me so long to realize it." He kissed my lips ever so softly, tenderly. Doing his best to show me how he felt without saying another word.

I unbuttoned his shirt as well to expose his toned torso, my hand immediately went to his chest. His heart was beating fast as well. I felt calm now, I felt this time things would be for real, I felt this time could really be special. With one last kiss I closed my eyes and allowed him to take me away.

I knew Sirius didnt know much about what was going on in my head, maybe the only person who truly knew what was going on with me was Morgan and she was no where to be found. I walked next to Sirius for what felt like an eternity, eventually coming up to the stair case.

"Come on, there a something I want to show you. Its on the third floor." I'd spent some time researching the map Remus had and discovered a hidden chamber on th third floor that Dumbledore visited a lot. We reached the huge chamber and went into the trap door, after that it was just a bunch of empty chamber that let the passage to a very special one. As we approched the last door a voice could be heard from the inside.

"Ariana... I so do wish things were different." it was the headmaster, he was still looking at it. The door handle became unlocked and the door opened leaving me and Sirius in eye sight of Dumbledore.

"Sir... we were just lost and uhm." I couldnt make words at the moment, he was an amazing wizard someone I looked up too and he was probably gonna banish me from the school for breaking an entery. Dumbledor raised his hand and I stoped talking. He waved at the mirror and headed towards us.

"This is your second time here, Mr. Warren. I do ask you and Mr. Black tell no one of this room or the object it hides and I must ask that you do not return for wizards have wasted away before it, not knowing if what they have seen is real, or even possible." I knew what he meant, I could see things that hadnt happen and half the time I didnt know if it was real or not, I could spend an iternity finding out.

"Ofcourse, Professor." I agreed. Dumbledore left the room, leaving me and Sirius alone. I walked over towards the mirror and once again it showed me what I wanted to see. Morgan and I alive and well, Sirius and Remus behind us and purple/blueish eyed kids running around. I looked at Sirius and kissed him, this is what I wanted, its what I desired.
"Its called the mirror of Erised and if you read the inscription backwards it says, I show not your face but your heart's desire. It shows you what you truly want." I explained the mirror to Sirius, something went through me like, desire? I turned and kissed Sirius again this time harder. I took a second a second to breath and when I could gt my breath in order I lookd into his eyes.
"What do you see?" I asked him.

Sirius looked at the mirror and saw his family surrounding him. They all looked incredibly happy to see him. Sirius waved and they all waved back, his mother put her hands on his shoulder and Bellatrix hugged him, while Narcissa and Andromeda smiled brightly at him. Then someone else entered the image, it was Noah. And Noah was being accepted into the family.

"Wow." Was all Sirius could say, he closed his eyes and moved away from the mirror. "I see something that will never happen."

He took hold of Noah's hands and pulled him closer to his body.

"I see something that is not important in that mirror. But when I look at you I see what is right in my life. I know what I truly want, some mirror won't tell me what it is. I want you, Noah, you and you only. And I'll be dammed if anybody or anything tells me otherwise." Sirius kissed Noah with passion, this right here was real, this right here felt right.

He pulled away and looked into Noah's indigo eyes and smiled.
"What I truly desire is for you to be mine."

The Divination classroom reminded me quite a lot to my grandmother's house, the smell of incense, the carpets, the books, the crystal balls. Perhaps that's why I loved this classroom so much, it brought me back to my childhood.

I sat at a table next to Lucius, his hand lovingly rested on my knee. I smiled at him and kissed him, being with him after what happened Monday felt right. It made me happy. My head rested on his shoulder while we waited for the professor, Lucius was very comfortable to be, I wished I could just lie with him alone for the rest of my life.

"Welcome students, to your first Divination class." The professor, Samantha Trelawney, walked in to the classroom and sat at her desk. "Today is Friday, and you all know what that means! Everybody gaze into their crystal balls, first person to tell me what they see will get 100 points to their house."

I gazed into the ball, and all I could see was Lucius' handsome reflection on it, and Remus walking by.

I hadn't really talked much to Remus since the time we almost kissed, I felt it would be awkward if we did and apparently he thought the same since he didn't approach me at all. Sure we hung out together when I chilled with the Marauders but we never really said anything significant. It was pretty sad.

I decided to concentrate on the ball and saw a woman with purple hair talking to an older Remus, my brow furrowed. Who was she? I'd never seen anybody like her. She smiled at Remus and he smiled back, they looked in love. I got kind of jealous, I decided to keep this to myself and not tell the professor about it.

The rest of the week didnt compare to how it begun. It seemed pretty normal considering all that happend. Sirius and I were closer than ever after what happened, although sleeping on the floor wasnt all thatcomfortable. After that we'd sneak off whenever we had the time, which sadly wasnt much. It was finally the end of the end of the week and we were in our first Divination class, the room was almost an exact replica of y grandmothers house and that sent chills down my spine. Our teacher was Samantha Trelawny, author of the book my grams had tried to make me read, I believe its still somwhere under my bed. Our first task was to see something in the crystal ball and honestly all I saw was Sirius' reflexion. I could see him looking into the ball with a lot of focus probably only seeing his own reflexion. That made m laugh, a little to high.

"Mr. Warren, did you see something?" her arms crossed she focused on me. I quickly looked into the ball hoping to see something. I focused harder trying to spark something with my gifts and forms started taking shape. I saw varios faces, Lily, James, Peter, Sirius, Remus, Bellatrix, and some I'd never seen before, a woman with purple hair, a red headed kid, an elf, and several others that looked like Hogwarts students. I didnt understand what I was looking at but on other face stood out, the man with the eyes of a snake. After the facs were seen the image of a huge black dog appeared, I knew Sirius form and this wasnt it.

"... The Grim." I'd said it out loud. "I see people, followed by the Grim... I cant" I got up and left the class before I could hear anymore nonsense. This was the second time forces beyond my reach told me I was gonna lose my friends and people I'd never even met. I wasnt up for any of it, I headed straight for the common room hoping to be alone for the rest of the day.

Noah saw The Grim and my heart skipped a beat. I frowned and decided to not look at the crystal ball any longer, afraid of what else I might see.

The professor blinked and turned to the rest of the class.
"100 points for Gryffindor, I suppose." She sat on her desk and wrote something down on a piece of parchment. "Please refer to chapter 9 of the book 'In The Beyond', write the questions down on your parchment and you're free to go. The homework is due Monday, and it's worth 10% of your final grade."

I wrote everything down and waited for Lucius to do so as well before standing up and taking his hand. As we left the common room a headache consumed me and I closed my eyes.

"Remus and Tonks are dead." A voice shrieked in my ear. "Teddy was left an orphan!"
"Harry was an orphan." Another voice said in a calm tone. "He managed just fine."

"Tonks? Teddy? Harry?" I whispered to myself.

"I like that name, Harry." I heard Lily say as she walked next to me. "Do you know a Harry?"

I looked a Lily, one of the people I hardly talked to even though I was always hanging out with the Marauders.
"No, I reckon I don't."

Lily shrugged and left, I looked at Lucius.
"I keep seeing and hearing about people I don't know about today. It's getting pretty creepy." I felt sweaty at the moment, and cold, like I was about to get a fever.

"Sirius!" A boy shouted, Remus held him.
"I killed Sirius Black!" A woman skipped around happily, she looked oddly familiar. "I killed Sirius Black!"
"Harry, it's not worth it!" Remus tried to calm the boy, but he escaped his grasp.

My mind felt like it was about to explode, I blocked every image, every sound, I needed a break. I focused on the reality and was back at Hogwarts, outside the Divination classroom with a worried Lucius next to me.
"I'll be right back." I told him and entered the classroom once more, I sat next to Remus. "Remus, do you know a Harry, Teddy or Tonks?" Yes, we hadn't spoken in a while, and yes it seemed like an odd conversation starter but I had to ask, he was the only person I knew mentioned in my visions.

Remus laughed, Morgan hadnt talked to him directly for while and here she was talking about people he didnt know.

"I have no idea who Harry is and the only Teddy and Tonks I know is Ted Tonks in Hufflepuff. You remember him, he had a thing for you on our third year." Morgan didnt look happy with his answer, she looked dissapointed. He wish he had a better answer but none of the people she had mentioned rang ant bells. Remus stood and took Morgan back towards Lucius. Lucius quckly inbraced her in a hug.

"Im worried about you" Lucius whispered into her ear. Lucius took Morgans hands and walked Morgan back towards the common rooms. He wasnt sure if everything was alright with her or them but they sure felt ok. Lucius turned her around and kissed her passionetly.

"You make me feel the strangest most amazing feelings ever, Ms. Piper." Lucius smiled and kissed her again.

I kissed Lucius back with anger that he could mistake for passion. How dare Remus just laugh at me in the face and take me back to Lucius? Did he no longer care?

"Accio camera." I said and my camera reached my hands in a matter of seconds. I walked away from Lucius and sat down at a table, I took my ink, quill and parchment and pressed a button on the camera which let out the last two pictures taken by it. The pictures me and Noah took a week ago to send to our mothers. I wrote my mother about everything, my visions, Noah's visions and the duel. I also wrote her asking her to team up with aunt Elizabeth to see if they had any visions. I enclosed the letter and the pictures in an envelope and I whistled. Rose flew out of my room. "Take this to my mother, Rose." I kissed the top of her head and she left with the envelope grasped by her beak.

I looked at Lucius and went over to him, I hugged him tightly.
"I love you." I said to him before kissing his chest. "You make me feel special, and I want to thank you for that. And thank you for holding on for all these years, I don't know how I'll be able to make it up to you."

I looked at the starry night sky, if my timing was correct it was almost midnight. The cresent moon was the only sort of light near the lake. Its beauty was beyond imagination, even my own. The grass on my back felt comforting letting me strech as far a my limbs let me. I had been laying there for two hours, just starring straight into space. My friends were destined to die and all I could do was sit and watch as He slaughtered them one by one. I closed my eyes hoping for better thoughts but all I saw was the wanted for murder poster for the man I loved. I raised my wand, its story was one of leyend yet it held powers only those with dark intentions would seek.

"Why did you chose me? Why me?" I knew it was ludacris to talk to a wand but no one else had the answers I sought. The wand looked like any other, but anyone that had tried to use its magic knew better.

"You seek what only the future knows..." the voice was soft, almost like a whisper. It was as if the air itself had spoken. "Do you truly wish to know the truth?" it spoke once more.

"I do." I'd spoken without even taking into consideration my actions. The tip of my wand started to shine, letting out a patrones in the shape of an owl. The owl flew towards the lake, submerging into it. Without hessitation I stripped to my underware and dove in. My vision blurred and my oxygen limited didnt seem to bother me as I dove towards the light of the owl. The closer I got to the light the clearer my vision got and the pressure seemed to vanish. The owl stood on a indigo colored casket, jumping on it as if telling me to open it. I used all my strengh to lift the cover. Inside was the skelital remains of a woman, if her body hadnt been tampered with her hair was bright red and she wore a formal indigo dress from ancient times.

"Place your hand upon her forehead if you wish to know..." the same voice seemed to come the owl this time and as the patronus instructed I let my hand fall upon the womans head. The water seemed to push me down, dragging me lower into its depths. I closed my eyes and hoped that everything would be okay. When my eyes opened I was in the headmasters office, starring at the entrance way.

"Welcome, Nathan." the same soft voice that had spoken to me at the shore of the lake was now speaking from behind me, from behind the headmasters desk. I turned to see her face but her majestic indigo eyes caught me off guard, her fiery red hair only came in second. Her pressence radiated power, her eyes seemed all knowing.

"Who are you?" the question escaped my lips. I dreaded her answer not wanting my suspisions to be confirmed.

"You know perfectly well who I am, Nathaniel." her voice was that of an angels but her pose was that of a warriors. She walked with such confidence, each step looked as if magic itself was being absorbed into the world.

"Cassandra, Cassandra Blackthorne. The ancient seer who made her eyes into two equaly powerfull wands." I'd heared the story millions of times whenever Mom and I would visit grandma. She wore a white gown with silk designs that matched both Morgans and my wands perfectly. Her flawless pale skin radiated magic as she approched me, with a single finger on my shoulder I felt as if the wolds magic was surging through me.

"Very good, Nathaniel. I am here to answer your question but I can not promise you the result you desire, my child." her angelic voice was tainted with sorrow, even a great seer witch like her had limits in the after life. She stepped back and took in a breath. Pure magic danced around with varios colors, her hair rising like an open flame and her eyes fully turning into the color Morgan and I shared. "Prophecies spoken may be changed, but only those who are chosen may will the gift to intervine in the hands of time. Fear not what you see but what is done to avoid." she spoke with such power that were the room filled no eye would leave her image. In seconds she was back to her old majestic self, she waved her hand and the door opened.

"You never left Hogwarts, did you?" I stopped at the door and awaited her answer. The question didnt catch her off guard but it did make her smile.

"Hogwarts was, is and always shall be my true home. Now go, somone is waiting for you." she smiled and said her good bye. I wasnt sure what awaited me once I stepped out of the door but I stepped through it. The water once again engulfed me, nearly chocking me. The stream pushed me back towards the shore, making me land right next to the pile of clothes I had left before my trip. I grabbed my wand and pointed to where the shadows moved.

"Lumos!" I casted revealing the worried face of my cousin, Morgan.
