Dark Times Are Close (Closed to Alex Johnson)

On our way aunt Ana was mostly paying attention to Remus and Sirius seeing them as interesting as ever, leaving Morgan and I to the sane seer. Sirius and I werent public yet not even Morgan knew and mom kept giving us these looks like she knew what was going on and she wasnt one to keep secrets. Half way there mom told my aunt to take the boys inside, she wanted to talk to Morgan and I about something.

"Morgan, Noah, love isnt an easy thing. When I was dating your dad things were difficult, different personalities, different houses..." my mother was gonna give us the love talk, here?

"Mom, what are you getting at? You and dad were both in Gryffindor." mom had lost me, for years dad had told me how easy it felt with mom, how being in the same house had made them bond.

"Oh! Right, ofcourse... Being with your aunt so long one starts to go a little loon as well but like I was saying Noah things are gonna be extra hard for you and the Black boy and you Morgan and the werewolf wont be easier." I looked at my mother, shock in my eyes.

"Mom!" I raised my voice.

"What? Ever since he got off the train all he's thought of is of you and Morgan all he's thinking is that he might hurt you again." mom had a thing for mind reading and she wasnt keeping anything to herself. "but there is something the Black is hiding. Nathaniel how far have you two gone?" my jaw droped.

"MOTHER!" I yelled. Next to me Morgan had the same expresion I had. Aunt Ana and the boys came out after my screaming.

"Is everything ok?" Remus asked.

"Everything is fine, we're just disscusing my sons relationship with your friend here." mom didnt mean it but she was making things a lot worse. She didnt have any bad intentions, she didnt even know it was a secret but blurting things out was sorta her specialty. My gaze traveld the room, all eyes were on Sirius and I.

"Guys! Grandma died! Is this really the time to discuss this?" I asked hoping to skip this conversation but knowing my family anything could happen.

My jaw had dropped just like Noah's, I knew there was something between the two but even I kept it secret.
"I refuse to have this conversation the day of my grandmama's funeral, aunt Elizabeth, much less when there are people who do not know the circumstances!"

Sirius blushed and cleared his throat, clearly uncomfortable. He scratched the back of his head and looked at Noah.

"See there, Elizabeth?" My mother crossed her arms, for a second she reminded me of Molly when she used to scold the Marauders along with Lily. "You've made the poor boy nervous, you should be ashamed!" She smiled at Sirius. "Don't worry dear, nobody knows about your 6th toe."

"My wha--"

"Let's go then!" My mother walked out the door.

Sirius raised eyebrow at me.
"My uncle Thadius has a 6th toe." I explained. "She does this constantly, taking about something that's about a different person, you grow used to it."

Sirius looked kind of understanding, though I still felt confusion radiating from him. He walked over to Noah and took hold of his hand, the secret was out, there was no use hiding it. Aunt Elizabeth seemed frustrated, we hadn't heard the last of this conversation.

I went over to Remus and my heart skipped a beat when he opened the door for me. There in an indigo casket layed my grandmother, holding some sort of odd cross. When I got over I realized it had the family's crest in the middle. My eyes watered and I held Remus close, trying not to sob.
"Grandma Cassie..." Was all I could manage to say at the time.

Wands were pointed and the casket rose, it closed gently, and off we went to march to the cemetery. Everything was quiet except for the occasional sobs of family members. Even my mother who constantly forgot where she was or what she was doing cried, always keeping a hand on the casket.

When we got there we entered a large tomb, the door covered indigo jewels immediately opened up, revealing my grandfather's burial stone, next to it a special place for my grandmother.

A man was already in there, standing tall and ready to say a few words.
"We are all gathered here today, to say goodbye to Cassie Alexandrov, one of the greatest seers to ever grace the wizarding world. And not only that, but the greatest human being you could ever meet. It is, in accordance to tradition, that we raise our wands and say our last words."

Everybody did as told, and the tomb was suddenly filled with the lights emitted by the tip of our wands.
"Please guide me and Noah through our journey." I whispered,and the light of our wands all went inside the casket.

It began to move by itself, slowly sliding into the hole on the stone floor.
"Secundum quod dicimus quod cum magna vale, ut anima tua requiem tibi in perpetuum et in honore habendus." The man said, and the hole sealed itself.

On the stone it read Cassie Alexandrov :: October 12, 1911 - September 14, 1974.

The funeral went perfectly as a funeral could go but I couldnt feel as sad as everyone else did. I kept close to Sirius and let a couple tears fall but grandma had come to us a couple hours ago sorta keeping her alive in my head. I walked up to Morgan and hugged her pulling her away to myself for a while as we headed towards the Black Manor.

"Today hasnt been easy, huh?" I gave my cousin a slight smile not getting much from her.

Remus was alone with Sirius for the time being. Curiosoty was driving him mad. If what Noahs mom had said was true it would mean that one of his best friends was gay and dating his itherr friend.

"Dude, is it true? Are you dating Noah?" Remus whispered to Sirius. Sirius was a total ladies man up until recently, all the girls wanted him and a lot of guys wanted to be him. They'd been friends for years, how could none of them tell him? It wasnt like he was gonna freak out of anything, maybe a little shocked but definetly not freaked.

"No, it certainly hasn't." I said wiping away some tears. "I feel like today, everything around me is starting to fall apart. Lucius gets angry, the funeral happened so quickly. The only thing that's kept me from falling on my knees crying is Remus."

He's afraid to hurt you again.

That meant Remus cared about me, he truly did, and that gave me a bit of strength in this delicate moment.

Sirius sighed and took Remus far away from Noah's family.
"It was that kiss, Remus. The one on the first day at Hogwarts, it caused a spark in me." He wondered how he could explain. "I myself did not know I was attracted to Noah until then, I always thought I loved him as my number one best friend. But I guess there was more there, you know? A hidden feeling?" He noticed they were being left behind so they began to walk. "When he fainted, I thought I'd lose him, somehow I think it was the same between you and Morgan. Why hadn't you told me anything?"

Anastasia came running to them and hugged Remus tightly.
"Oh, little Lupin! How the years have gone by! Oh, Morgie used to be so in love with you!"

"Mom, c'mon." I said grabbing her by the shoulders.

"Where are we going?"

"To the Manor, they'll be discussing the will."

"Brilliant!"

We got to the manor rather quickly and we all sat down, waiting for our names to be called by the same man who was in the tomb.

"Anastasia and Elizabeth Alexandrov."

My mother and my aunt quickly rose and entered the library, they came out ten minutes later.
"We've inherited the manor!" Mother said in the happiest tone she could muster, it wasn't very convincing.

"Noah Warren and Morgan Piper."

Me and Noah rose and went into the library. It was a room that seemed to be built out of bookcases alone, millions of books covered the calls, and quite a few were scattered on the floor.

"It seems Cassie Alexandrov has left you two quite a few items." He lifted a trunk from under the table and when she set it on it it made a particularly loud bang. "We'll begin with Mr. Warren." He opened the trunk. "A sealed letter, a key to one of her many Gringotts vaults which contains 100,000 Galleons, Foe Glass, Rememberall, a sneakoscope and your grandfather's pensieve." He handed the items to Noah and looked at me. "Miss Piper. Another key to a Gringotts vault also containing 100,000 Galleons, a special item made by you grandmother called a 'foe globe'; similar to the foe glass but it does not show you the faces of who they are, but it is portable. Her entire collection of seer books, rememberall and last but not least, a broach."

To me some of these items didn't make sense, I mean. A broach? Really grandma? I accepted all the trinkets and nodded at the man before leaving the study.

Everything my grandmother had left me seemed pretty much useless to me. None of it was usable at the moment, except maybe the cash. I grabbed the Remember all, squeezing it tightly, making the smoke turn a scarlet red. The letter seemed interesting so I put it in my pocket to keep it safe till I was back at school. I walked out of the room and went back to my mother, aunt and boyfriend, it still felt weird to say. I kissed Sirius softly, seeing as the cat was out of the bag no one would care. I held his hand for most of the time and later saying goodbye to everyone who had come to see what grandma had left them.

“Well, wasn’t that fun?” I said in a sarcastic tone. I sat on the living room sofa next to Morgan, Sirius and Remus in front of us. Grams death had been a shock and a very sad moment for all of us including the guys who barely knew her.

“It wasn’t so bad. Thing could have been much worse.” Remus said.

I cried silently with my head on Remus' lap. My grandmother was really gone, there was no way I could hug her again, sit on her lap even though I thought I was too big for that anymore. She wouldn't be there to guide me in my Seer studies and she wouldn't be there to tell me any fascinating stories.

Remus caressed my hair in silence, he felt pity for me, I could feel it. I looked at Noah and Sirius.

Noah rested his head on Sirius' shoulder and Sirius stroked his hand, they looked nice together, bizarre, but nice. The thought of Sirius being gay was still a bit hard to register.

Everything was quiet on the ride back to Hogwarts, until I saw something walking by the compartment door.
"I'll be right back." I wiped my tears and got up, opened the compartment door and stepped out. "Who's there?"

The person turned around, my mother?

She walked over to me.
"Things will change." I heard my grandmother's voice coming from her. "You and Noah are no longer safe, the future is set." She coughed and looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "Where am I?"

"T-the Hogwart's Express." My grandmother's words sent chills down my spine.

"Oh, I'm going to Hogwarts?"

I nodded.
"Don't worry, I'll have the Headmaster take you back home." I smiled at her. "Here, get in this compartment and rest, we'll be at Hogwarts in a few hours."

She did as she was told and I walked back to my compartment.
"Who was it?" Sirius asked.

"Mother, she wondered on to the train."

He laughed.
"Your mother is a bit crazy, isn't she?"

"Just a bit." I looked at Noah. "Nathaniel, I need to have a word with you."

I was half asleep when Morgan started talking. Last thing I remembered was some sort of troll and a bird playing limbo. I stood and followed Morgan to the next compartment. I had no clue what she wanted to tell me, let alone why we had to leave the guys in the other room. I liked being with Sirius, it felt comforting to be in his embrace, safe. My aunt was on the couch, it looked like she was sleeping but I wasn’t sure.

“What is it? The Hippogriff was just about to beat the dwarf at limbo.” I said in a sleepy tone. “Why is aunt Ana sleeping on the train?” I yawned.

No matter how things had gone, Remus felt good about the day. He’d been able to be with Morgan for at least a day, a day in which she was all his. He leaned forward and addressed Sirius.

“What the bloody hell do you think those two are talking about? You think they’re keeping stuff from us?”

"Grandma took over mom's body to send me a message." I scratched the back of my head.
"She said 'Things will change, you and Noah are no longer safe, the future is set'. It was incredibly freaky. And... Wait, what?"

I hadn't payed attention to the last thing Noah had said.
"What the fuck are you on and why didn't you give me any? Grandma dies and you dream about creatures playing limbo?" I rolled my eyes. "You're special." His dream kind of took the edge off my worry. Everything was going good sofar and there weren't any signs of danger, right? So we wouldn't worry about it now, and when the signs did come we'd be ready, right?

"C'mon let's go back to the compartment." I messed his hair a bit and went back to Remus. "Sorry about that, mom told me something I had to tell Noah in private."

"Is she ok? She didnt get herself into any sort of trouble?" asked Remus. He looked concerned, he knew that if anything bad would happen to my aunt while she was out of it Morgan would be crushed.

"She's fine, nothing to worry about." I answered. I sat back down next to Sirius and took his hand in mine. "What are we gonna do about Lucius and his little gang of missfits once we get back? I mean I dont want Serverus to go nuts on me again cause you guys decided to go out on a gothic date" the wound on my arm hadnt fully healed, the dark magic behind it was to strong it took extra time. What Morgan had told me had got me worried, what if the future couldnt be changed? I shoock my head and pushed the idea aside for latter.

"It's not a date, nor was it ever. I simply escorted Morgan to her grandmothers funeral as her best friend." Remus was starting to get red, I couldnt help but hold down a laugh. "And besides why would he go after you?" he asked.

"I dont know, maybe he wants to finish what he started." I answered sarcasticly. The wound burned a bit everytime Snape was mentioned, I didnt know why or how but he'd left his mark on me.

"Oh yeah, snogging is totally what best friends do." Sirius chuckled.

"Oh shush, Padfoot. Let me be Lucius free at least for one day."

"Hey, not saying I'm against it." He winked.

I rolled my eyes at him and couldn't help but chuckle as well. I looked into Remus' eyes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I'm gonna miss you once we get to Hogwarts, or at least missing being this way with you." I closed my eyes and rested my head on his lap again, and he began to stroke my hair. "I don't think Sevvy will mess with you again," I said to Noah without opening my eyes, "I'll talk to him, just try not to mess with him, that goes for you too, Sirius."

"Psh, okay Morgie, whatever."

It was near dusk when we got to Hogwarts, I kissed Remus before we entered the grounds and the first thing I did was run to the Hospital Wing, once I got there I saw him with Severus and Narcissa. Of course she gave me a dirty look once she saw me.

"This is all your fault Piper." She spat at me.

I closed my eyes.
"How is this my fault?"

"Taking that mutt to the funeral instead of Lucius! How dare you!? You don't deserve him!"

"I deserve way more than you, Cissy."

"What did you say!?" She got up and aimed her wand at me.

Immediately I took my wand out.
"Trust me, Cissy. I'll just beat your ass, like Dueling. Remember?"

"Impedimenta!"

"Protego!" I chuckled. "That the fuck was that, Narcissa? Really?"

"Ms. Piper! Ms. Black! There will be no spell casting while I'm around! Leave at once before I am forced to remove you." said Mrs. Pomfrey, by the look on her face she didnt look pleased.

"Morgan can stay. I have to talk to her.'' said Lucius. Narcissa looked at him, she'd been hurt. Cissy ran out of the hospital wing in tears. "Cissy wait!" screamed Lucius but the pain in his body forbid him from moving. He loved Morgan above all others but he also sorta liked Narcissa.

"Mr. Malfoy, because of your act of pure stupidity you are not allowed to move. Severus please make sure that the girl is fine and as for the two of you, you have 15 minutes." Pomfrey escorted Severus to the hall before returning to her office leaving Lucius alone with Morgan.

"Morgan, how do I start? Do you want to be with him more than with me? I can give you the world and more. What does he have that I do not?" Lucius looked into her indigo eyes and got lost in them. He took her hand in his and pleaded. "Please tell me what I have to do..."

James and Peter were on the couch when we reached the common room. Instantly they started asking what had happened and if they've missed anything good.

"You guys didnt miss much but there is something our friends over here have been keeping from us." Remus turned his towards Sirius and I. Was he really gonna makes us tell? I looked at Sirius.

"Should we?" I asked him.

My brain couldn't function, here he was, looking defenseless and miserable and it was all my fault. I loved Lucius, I really did, but Remus had a special place in my heart and I couldn't seem to get him out of it. I didn't know what to say to Lucius so I sat down where Narcissa had been, with a sigh I looked into his eyes.
"Lucius, I genuinely do love you. But my heart is just... sadistic I suppose. You've known my feelings for Remus, I've told you every year, you're the person I vented to when I was feeling down about him not returning my feelings. You know all of this." A tear escaped my eyes. "And you've been my best friend all these years, you more than anybody except for Noah know my true feelings, out of all my friends you know me best. And when you told me your loved me I couldn't have felt happier, and when we made love, it was magical. It really was."

I sniffled and wiped away my tears.
"I don't want you to hurt, Lucius. I mean, if you want to be with me you'll have to handle the fact that I'm trying to get over somebody else, you know? I want to be with you, honest to Merlin but I don't know. My life hasn't been easy, specially not today and I don't even know what I'm thinking...."

Sirius scratched the back of his neck.
"Alright then, Remus. Since you're so insistent." He took a chair and stood on it. "My dearest and closest friends, I, Sirius Orion Black, am in love with Noah Nathaniel Warren."

James laughed.
"No, seriously, what is it?"

"That's it, I'm gay." Sirius got down from the chair and grabbed Noah by the waist before kissing his lips.

"Oh my God, Lucius was right!" Peter shrieked.

"What?" Sirius raised an eyebrow.

"He said you two would end up together, I owe him 10 galleons now."

Sirius blinked.
"Should I pay a charming visit to the Hospital Wing, then?" He grinned. "You know, so I can thank him for making his prediction, putting it out there so it happened?"

James shook his head.
"You'll get your revenge later mate, so... when did this happen?"

“Well umm… It started…”I couldn’t make a word. Sirius’s confession had startled me, I thought he’d make some kind of joke and completely avoid the subject but he surprised me.

“According to mister show off over here, it started our first day here. When Noah kissed Sirius at the pub. Must have been one hell of a kiss if you were able to turn the womanizer over here.” The guys laughed but I was still in a bit of a trance.

“Sirius, come with me please.” I stood and headed towards the exit.

“Cuddle time for the boys.” I heard Remus say. I turned and shot him the best I’m going to hurt you stare I could manage the same one my cousin would do and by the look on his face I knew it had worked

“I, Sirius Orion Black, am in love with Noah Nathaniel Warren? You didn’t have to do that. You could have just change the topic or maybe even deny it. I wouldn’t have gotten mad.” I looked into Sirius brown eyes and I knew Sirius didn’t want to lie but that would mean the entire school would know soon enough and I wasn’t sure if he was ready for that. I took his hand and kissed him softly on the lips. Being with him was all I wanted, him being mine is what I wanted since my second year at Hogwarts and now that it was true it didn’t seem as easy as I thought it would have.

“Mr. Malfoy, I must ask you to remain calm. This was just a mere accident. He is only a fifth year, these things happen.” Mrs. Pomfrey along with Professor Slughorne and Dumbledore entered the hospital with them the patriarch of the Malfoy family, Abraxas Malfoy.

“Abraxas, he is a boy. He still doesn’t know how to fully control his magic. If I remember correctly and you know I do, a young boy just a little younger than your son here causing the dungeons to smell like trolls breath and centaur urine for a month because of a potions error.” The headmaster chuckled at the memory.

“It doesn’t matter Albus, he did something immaturely stupid and all for this…this… brat.” He looked at Morgan with disapproving eyes. He didn’t hate Morgan but it was her fault his son was hurt. She’d caused him to lose his temper and do the idiotic stunt he did. “I’ll deal with the damages done to the bridge but as for him, I want him punished. I don’t want him to have any free time what so ever.”

“I’ll deal with that Mr. Malfoy, miss Evans is helping me with some work, he’ll help her in whatever she needs.” said Professor Slughorne.

“Evans? The mudblood? I refuse to work with her…Ugh!” Lucius tried standing but just ended up feeling like he was being hit by a rogue bludger.

“Ms. Evans is one of the brightest witches to have step foot into my school, Mr. Malfoy. There will not be such insulting terms as long as I am around. Now Abraxas care for some tea?” Dumbledore grabbed a hold of Malfoy senior and escorted him out.

“5 minutes” said Mrs. Pomfrey as she returned to her office yet again.

Lucius looked at Morgan. “Sorry about that. My father can be… well, you know him.” Lucius tried smiling but Morgan still had tears running down her cheek. “Hey, hey, no more tears ever. I’ll wait, I’ll wait till my hearts stops beating. As long as we are together there isn’t any reason to cry. Ok?’’ Lucius reached up, ignoring the pain in his body and kissed Morgan passionately.

Yeah, I knew Abraxas. He didn't really mean it when he said I was a brat, that didn't stop it from hurting. Lucius' dad always preferred Narcissa over me, though, and always told his son that she'd make a fine wife. And now the feeling was probably stronger.

My thoughts about Abraxas stopped when Lucius started getting up, and before I could tell him not to move he gave me the most passionate kiss he could muster, and once more I melted. Lucius had this way of making me feel like I was on top of the world when he was passionate, something hard to explain also, that I didn't feel as much with Remus. It was then I came to realize that Lucius and Remus both have something I adore, which is why I can't decide myself between the two.

Remus treated me like a princess at all times, and he showed me love I'd never seen or felt before. But Lucius is more passionate and he knows what he wants and how to get it from me, he was more dominant and it attracted me too.

Tears stopped staining my cheeks and I kissed him with as much passion as I could. When we finally pulled away from each other I gently helped him to lay back on the bed and caressed his hair.
"I'll see you tomorrow, love. I'll bring you something to make you feel better, alright?" I kissed his forehead before leaving and ran after Dumbledore.

"Professor!" I shouted and he turned around.

"Yes, Miss Piper, what is it?" He smiled kindly at me.

"My mother is currently on the Hogwarts Express, wondering if you could send her back to St. Mungo's station?"

"How did she--"

"It's a long story professor, she just... wasn't herself."

Dumbledore nodded.
"I'll see she gets back." And with a wink he turned around and continued his walk with Mr. Malfoy.

Abraxas was acting odd with me, more than usual. It kind of worried me.

I shook it off and decided to go to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"Password?" Said the Fat Lady.

I blinked and thought for a moment.
"Caput Draconis?"

"You don't look like a Gryffindor."

"Fat Lady, I've been coming here since second year, could ya let me in?"

She hesitated, but swung open revealing the hole. I crawled through it and tried not to land on my head, once I was on my feet I looked around and saw Noah and Sirius kiss.
"Eww, Gryffie love." I joked and laughed.

"Hey Morgie! Sirius is gay, can you believe it!?" James said to me from the couch.

"Shh, don't want to wake Gryffindor Tower, eh?" Sirius said.

I couldn't help but giggle.

"Were you crying?" Sirius asked me.

"Yeah, it's all good now, though." I walked into the Common Room and took some Every Flavor Beans that were on the table. "These aren't laced, are they?"

Petter shook his head.
"Nah, they're mine, just opened them."

I nodded and ate a few.
"Ech, soap..." I put the box down.

"What is going on here?" Lily walked down the stairs, her hair a bit messy. "I heard shouting."

"Just James and his big mouth." Peter chuckled.

"Wanna try it out?" James winked at Lily.

"Potter, you can be so disgusting at times." She walked down the stairs and sat on his lap. I was surprised.

"What's going on?" I said, wanting my curiosity to be cleared.

"While you guys were at the funeral, me and James had a talk." Lily smiled sleepily. "We're kind of together now."

"About time!" Sirius said with a huge grin.

"I knew eventually she wouldn't be able to resist my charm." James smirked, Lily rolled her eyes.

"And here I thought that we were gonna be the big surprise." I looked at Lily and James, I knew James was tottaly into her in his own weird way and he was kinda cute.

"How come I'm the only single one here? Hell! I'm the best looking Marauder!'' Remus started laughing eventually looking at Peter. "No offense dude" Remus patted Peter on the shoulder.

"So, I heared Abraxas was at school. Morgan, is it true?" I turned to Morgan. Some Gryffindors saw him fixing the bridge that Lucius destroyed. Abraxas always seemed like a good guy, Morgan being his sons best friend for years we'd seen eachother several times.

"Who is Abraxas?" asked Lily holding James hand.

"Abraxas Malfoy, Lucius' dad. He was here? at the school? Why?" asked Remus.

"I'm guessing he came to check on Lucius. The Malfoys always have to throw some sort of a tantrum over the littlest of thing..." I said. Lucius had been hurt badly, at least from what I got from Morgan he was in a bad state.

"Oh no, everyone could see this coming, you're still the odd ones." Peter said to Noah.

"I wouldn't talk about odd if I were you, Peter." I said to him with arms crossed before I looked at Remus. "Best looking indeed." I winked at him and giggled, I acted like such a dork with him, it was fun.

"We already know why you're single, Moony. You're too slow." Sirius said, thank Merlin my cousin changed the subject or I would have said a thing or two to him.

"Yeah, Abraxas is here, sipping tea with Dumbledore. He came here to make sure his son was appropriately punished and to call me a brat." I sighed and rolled my eyes. "And Lucius really is hurt, no bullshit, Pomfrey doesn't want him to move whatsoever, of course he can't stay still so he's going to take even longer to recover." I took a deep breath to stop the tears from coming out and moved a strand of hair from my face to behind my ear. "He'll be fine, though, Pomfrey's keeping an eye out on him, so you guys can start pranking him soon."

"Alright!" James said and high fived Sirius. I rolled my eyes at the two dorks.

"I think after today Abraxas is going to constantly remind Lucius that Narcissa is better suited for him than me, which means I'll have constant headaches coming from a gloating Cissy." I sighed and went over to Remus so I could rest my arm on his shoulder.

"We can teach her a lesson." Peter suggested.

"Grabbing her ass won't teach her a lesson." James joked and everybody laughed.

Peter turned red and got up.
"Fine, I'm going to bed." He said and walked up the stairs to the dormitories.

"So sensitive..." I muttered, causing Remus to chuckle.

"I think I'm going to bed too." Lily yawned. "James Potter, you should go to bed as well." She kissed him before leaving to her dormitory.

James smirked as his girlfriend left and stretched.
"Got lucky, eh?"

"Just a bit." Sirius joked.

Not long passed before everyone was going to bed one by one, eventually leaving Morgan, Remus, Sirius and I talking close to the rouring fire. I was on the floor with my les crossed, Sirius fast asleep on my lap. I stroke his hair and kept thinking about how righht it felt to be so close to him. I looked up, Morgan was resting her head on Moony's shoulder she didnt seem to be falling asleep but Remus looked like he could fall at any moment. I took my watch out to check the time, almost 4:00 am.

"It's really late. I think you guys should get some sleep." I slightly moved Sirius waking him and Remus up so they could go into the bedrooms. I kissed Sirius before he left and nearly tripped over Remus on his way up. I stood up and sat next to Morgan on the couch. "I'm worried'' I said. "I dont want Sirius to know but things are changing and they're getting worse everyday. I dont know if we can fully change what is to come. I wish... I wish... I wish our gift didnt have to mess with our lives so much. Sometimes I just want to be normal, like them." I looked back at the stair case where the guys had been not long ago.

I ruffled Remus' hair before we went to his dormitory and I sat on the couch, my cousin sat next to me.
"Oh yeah, a werewolf and an Animagus are totally normal." I joked and nudged him slightly. "I think we're lucky we have our gift. We might not be able to save ourselves but we might be able to save the people around us, I mean, we have warnings." I stood up and kissed his forehead. "I'm gonna head over to the common room, feeling kind of tired after the day we had."

I crawled out of the hole and went quickly to my bed.

Breakfast without Lucius was weird, but less stressful. Severus was next to me reading a potions book, making scribbles on it and writing other things. On one of the pages it said 'Septumsempra'. I was about to open my mouth to ask him about that spell when Narcissa came over to me.

"Hope you're happy, Lucius is black and blue." She scowled at me. "Abraxas totally blames you, ya know?"

"And?" I raised an eyebrow.

"And? AND?" Cissy waved her arms. "He doesn't want you to date his son," she grinned, "he wants Lucius to date me."

"You know, we have Quidditch practice soon, look out for bludgers." I smiled kindly at her.

Her expression turned serious and she sat next to her sister.
"Dumb bottle blonde..." I rolled my eyes and looked at Severus. "Oi, what's Septumsempra?" I asked him right out, his frame turned rigid.

Severus wondered why Morgan was talking to him again after what he did to her cousin.

"It's nothing. Nothing that matters anyway..." Severus closed his potions book and set it aside. "Why are you suddenly talking to me? I thought you start hating me too." He looked into Morgans indigo eyes and for a moment got a flash of Lily and the Potter guy snooging, which set him a blaze.

"SIRIUS ORION BLACK! JAMES POTTER! REMUS JOHN LUPIN! WAKE UP!" I screamed in the boys dorm. We were already late as it was and each Marauder was still asleep. I went over to Sirius' bed a shook him hard. "Come on! Wake up! Well you guys asked for it." I looked for my wand and pointed at each bed. "FLIPENDO! EVERTE STATUM!" I yelled. Sending each one of the guys flying off their beds.

"Why the bloody hell did you do that for?" screamed Remus. I walked over to a groaning Sirius and kissed him on the forehead.

"None of you would wake up an we're late. Does anyine know where Wormtail is?"

"I was mad, Severus. But no matter how mad you make me I could never hate you. Best friends, remember?" I felt Severus get angry when he looked into my eyes, did he manage to read something from my mind? "Sevvie, what's wrong?"

"Someplace he's not being flipped over?" James groaned as he got back in bed. "It's Sunday, Noah, lemme sleep." He put the covers over his head so the light wouldn't bother him.

"James has a point, love." Sirius said as he rubbed his head before stealing a kiss from Noah. "James, didn't you promise Lily you'd have breakfast in Hogsmeade?"

James took the covers off his head.
"Did I?"

"Yeah, you mentioned it last night before falling asleep." Sirius said thoughtfully. "Or did I imagine it?"

James groaned.
"Great, now I have to get up and find out..." He walked out the dormitory still in his pajamas.

Sirius yawned.
"So what are we doing this lovely morning." He asked his boyfriend and remaining best friend.

"Well since I was just reminded that we have nothing to do this morning how about we just stay here and have some fun?" I looked at Sirius and smiled. I kissed him passiontly until I couldnt breath.

"Yo! Still in the room! Speaking of which, get one! Some of us are trying to sleep!" Said Remus from under his covers.

"Sorry!" I said to Remus. "How about some breakfast instead?" I asked my boyfriend.

Severus threw his book against the table. "Them? Together? How the bloody hell did this happen? Why did this happen?" Severus was blinded by rage, his surroundings blurred, before he knew it his wand was in his hand and a specific spell came to mind. As he tried to walk Morgan with the help of Bella held him down.

"Really Remus? Lucius in the hospital wing, Morgan alone in the castle and you're going to sleep?" Sirius rolled his eyes and looked at Noah. "Breakfast sounds pretty good, I'm actually starving now." He laughed. "Shall we?"

"Severus! Calm the fuck down!" I yelled at him before taking my wand out. "Levicorpus!" I had Severus dangling from his ankle. "What is wrong with you?"

"Experliarmus!" Bella disarmed him just in case he planned on attacking us.

"Thank you." I said to her before looking at Severus again. "Calm down and talk about this like a normal person, besides they're still in the common room. I don't know how it happened, but it happened yesterday while I was at the funeral. I was meant to happen, Sevvie, there's nothing you can do about it."

"We'll name him Harry."

"What?" I looked around, I heard a voice that sounded familiar to my ear, but the only person next to me was Bella.

"Really, Lily? Harry? Why not James?"

"Harry James Potter?"

"I like it."

I blinked several times, it was Lily and James talking. Harry, the name in a previous vision, was that their son?

"Morgan, hello?" Bella said and hit the back of my head. "You were in the middle of a lecture!"

I snapped out of it.
"Right, don't go attacking anybody, it'll just make Lily hate you."

“We shall” I giggled and kissed Sirius lightly. “Remus, Morgan and I are going to visit our aunt later. If you want to you can come. Right after breakfast, ok?” Remus didn’t answer, he must have fallen asleep.

Not much time passed before Sirius and I were on our way to the Grand Hall. When we got there Severus was floating by his ankle and Morgan was probably giving him some sort of lecture. I picked up his wand from the floor and took out mine and pointed and Snape.

“Liberacorpus!” I shouted. Severus fell hard towards the floor. I walked to the Slytherin table getting a couple of mean looks from the other students especially Bella. I was going to help Severus up but he pushed me, took his wand and left the Grand Hall. “I swear one of these days I’m going to let Snivelly get his ass kicked.” I said as I stood up. “What’s going on? And Bella, didn’t they ever teach to not play with your food?” I asked.

"Nice going, dork!" Bella shouted at him and ran after Severus.

"If James gets maimed, it's your fault, Noah." I said with a sigh and a roll of the eyes. "Severus read my thoughts, well, what he could see that wasn't completely shielded, and saw I suppose James and Lily snogging. That is why I had him up by the ankle, not Bella."

"Where are James and Lily?" Sirius asked me, I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm a seer, not a damn GPS." I said to him, but I closed my eyes anyways and concentrated. "Out by the lake."

We all ran outside, to find the end of an apparent duel.
"Leave me alone, Mudblood!" I heard Severus shout at Lily when she tried to help him up.

I felt Lily was incredibly hurt, and James was about to raise his wand.

"Experliarmus!" I shot the spell at James and his wand flew a few feet away. "James, just leave."

He looked at me with an angry look on his face.
"Accio wand!" He said and ran after Lily.

"Really Severus? Mudblood?" I said with my hands on my hips.

“This does not concern you Piper!” Severus shouted. “You have nothing to do with this! Just leave me alone and go snogg with your rotten flea bitten mutt!” Severus shouted once more and ran towards the castle.

“Well isn’t he a ray of sunshine?” I asked sarcastically but seeing the faces of everyone at the moment, even that of my prankster boyfriend I could see it wasn’t the time for jokes. “ Ok, umm… how about Bella goes and looks for Severus, Sirius you try and get Moony down here and Morgan and I will see if James and Lily are ok.” I said. I grabbed Morgan and half pulled half dragged her towards where James and Lily were. “I’m so bloody confused!” I told her. “I don’t understand what is going on! Please explain…” I asked.
